POSITION SUMMARY :  The Development Coordinator is a multi-faceted role designed to provide essential administrative, digital, and logistical support to the Community Engagement & Development team. This individual will support the day-to-day operations of the fundraising office, maintain the organization's digital presence, and serve in a support role for volunteer and event operations. The ideal candidate is a highly organized communicator who can balance technical tasks like website management with the interpersonal skills needed to support our growing community of support.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the gift acknowledgment process, ensuring all donors receive timely and personalized thank-you letters
• Assist with data entry and maintain the integrity of the CRM
• Maintain up-to-date donor records and donor mailing lists, eliminating duplications, and engages in ongoing database maintenance
• Provide administrative support for donor cultivation, including preparing materials for meetings
• Capture and create engaging social media content
• Maintain and update the organization's website
• Monitor digital engagement and respond to inquiries across social platforms
• Assist with maintaining Moveable Feast’s volunteer engagement database with data input and scheduling support
• Greet and orient morning and afternoon kitchen volunteers upon arrival as needed
• Provide event support as needed (occasional nights and weekends)

Today, our service extends to Marylanders living with heart disease, diabetes, and cancer, among other serious chronic illnesses.

We continue to drive our 30-year commitment forward to deliver food as medicine to an increasing number of Marylanders living without the necessary access, financial resources, and support to achieve the best quality of life.
