Description :

The Conditioning Tower Operator will work closely with the Plant Operations Manager to ensure all conditioning requests meet our customers’ needs. The role may consist of seed conditioning, grading, treating, packaging, shipping, and overall maintenance work in the conditioning facility. The candidate should have a good mechanical aptitude, and must be able to work together with others while still having the ability to complete tasks on their own and on time. The Conditioning Tower Operator assumes responsibility for the efficient and accurate operation of the seed corn conditioning tower.

Preferred skills

Ability to understand and operate conditioning equipment in seed plant

Communicate effectively and positively to other employees and internal customers

Ability to ensure a quality product in areas of responsibility

Understand and follow shipping procedures for accurate deliveries and returns

Maintaining efficient use of time to ensure company profitability

Performing additional duties as directed by department supervisor

Requirements :

Must be reliable and self-motivated

Be able to follow procedures and maintain records accurately

Excellent communications skills with positive attitude

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

Cooperative and willing to assist others

Basic computer skills required, advanced skills preferred
