ARDMS Registration CPR Clean, well-lit working environment May work "on call" when needs required Consistently complies with established Behavioral Expectations Performs ultrasound exams according to department protocols Consults with radiologist and / or ordering provider as appropriate Obtains a history and appropriate diagnosis for exam Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate for patient's age level, physical condition, mental condition, and emotional status Checks department requisitions and schedule and prioritizes appropriately Recognizes duties requiring completion but not directly assigned Regularly helps other staff Maintains a clean and organized work environment Ensures all charges are documented accurately and charged out correctly
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Education sufficient to be Ultrasound registry eligible through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
