[job_card.job_description]High School Diploma or GED preferred 1+ yrs of machine operator experience a PLUS but not required 2+ yrs doing any complex Mechanical (i.e. taking cars, machines apart, replacing engines or transmissions, etc). is required Ability to be on your feet and stand / walk for entire shift. Strong basic math skills with the ability to add, subtract, divide and multiply to figure footage and lineal footage Make and interpret measurements with a standard ruler to 1 / 16 of an inch (must pass a pre-employment ruler test) Physically fit with no restrictions and the ability to lift up to 65 lbs; push, pull, maneuver very large rolls of materials weighing several hundred pounds with the use of equipment on a daily basis. Must be able to squat, bend, crouch, and kneel. Must be able to tolerate chemicals and occasional strong odors. Previous ISO experience in a manufacturing or light industrial environment preferred Previous lamination, packaging or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred but NOT required, WE WILL TRAIN

- 1st Shift : (Cary Location) 6 : 00 am to 2 : 30 pm, M-F

The Slitting Machine Operator slits material to support press, lamination, and pouch departments, and Customer rollstock business.
