Production Supervisor, Manufacturing Ready Case Beef Plant, Olathe, KS

Job Position

Promote a safe work environment by ensuring associates use proper safety equipment and maintain clean, hazard-free work areas. Request materials, supplies, parts, and repair services as needed. Manage daily production operations by planning work schedules, assigning tasks, and monitoring quality and effectiveness. Inspect materials, products, and equipment for defects or malfunctions. Assist in production sequence planning to meet goals and deliver superior customer service. Address associate performance concerns promptly and analyze departmental reports. Drive continuous improvement and Lean culture by documenting and implementing process enhancements. Participate in new hire and ongoing associate training, providing guidance on process improvement, waste control, and quality management. Coordinate and oversee job-related activities by building relationships, supporting business plans, and identifying improvement opportunities. Provide supervision and development for associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and recognition. Ensure compliance with company policies, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.

The annual salary range for this position is $65,500.00 - $98,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Minimum Qualifications :

2 years' supervisory experience in a related environment (for example, logistics / supply chain, dairy plant, food processing, manufacturing). 2 years' experience in clerical-related responsibilities (for example, filing, data entry) and computer applications (for example, email, spreadsheets, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Visio).

Preferred Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, food science or related area. Packaging experience within a related environment (for example, dairy production, food processing, and manufacturing), supervisory experience in a dairy plant, food processing or manufacturing environment.
