Job Opportunity : Outside Machinist (with DOD access areas)

Location : Newport News, VA

Pay : $20.66–$27.31 / hr (Local) | $20.66–$27.31 / hr and $145 Per Day Worked for Per Diem (Non-Local)

Schedule : Full-Time, Contract | 40 hrs / week

About the Role

Install, align, and repair shipboard mechanical systems (pumps, valves, gears, auxiliaries).

Key Responsibilities

• Disassemble / repair / align rotating equipment.
• Read manuals / blueprints; perform precision alignment.
• Hydro tests and operational checks.
