Special Education Teacher - Westfield, MA

An elementary special education teaching opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year in Westfield, MA. This contract position focuses on providing specialized instruction in a K-4 substantially separate classroom designed to meet therapeutic needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored educational programs to students with special needs in grades K-4.
• Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapeutic strategies to support student development.
• Collaborate with support staff and therapists to address student needs comprehensively.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instruction as needed.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.

Qualifications:

• Valid special education teaching certification.
• Experience working with elementary-aged students, particularly in substantially separate settings.

Work Schedule & Location:

• Hours: 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
