About the role

Massage Therapist - Austin, Texas

Part-time, hours based on scheduled appointments

HealthFitness is looking for a Massage Therapist to join the team at our corporate client site located in the Harris Branch area of Austin, TX . In this position, you will be responsible for administering professional table and/or chair massage services to a wide variety of members and guests.

Key Accountabilities

• Perform numerous massage modalities and adjust delivery mode to address the needs of each customer.

• General understanding of body treatments and be willing and able to learn the products and services provided.

• Therapist must be willing and capable to deliver on site chair and/or table massage in a corporate setting (incidental travel, set-up and tear down).

• Must function as an active member of an integrated health and wellness team and support department wide events and strategies.

Minimum Requirements

• Massage Therapy License for the state of Texas required.

• Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certification from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, National Safety Council, or American Safety & Health Institute required prior to start date.

• 2+ years of massage therapy experience required.

• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.

• Experience in sports massage techniques.

• Good communication skills; listening and verbal.

Compensation: this is a commission based position.
