Job Description
A high-growth global fintech is expanding its US credit risk function and looking to appoint a Senior Credit Risk Analyst / Lead to support its next stage of growth. The firm partners with some of the world’s leading e-commerce and payments platforms to deliver flexible, data-driven financing products to merchants and SMEs.
This is not a regulatory or modeling role — it sits in the first line , owning portfolio performance and driving actionable, data-backed decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor portfolio-level credit performance across multiple US partners and segments
- Develop and iterate credit policies, risk thresholds, and partner frameworks to balance growth and risk
- Run A / B testing and policy experiments to continuously refine strategies
- Use SQL and visualization tools (Tableau / Power BI) to automate portfolio tracking and maintain real-time accuracy
- Identify risk trends and surface actionable insights to leadership and cross-functional teams
- Collaborate with underwriting, product, and commercial teams to align risk and business objectives
Key Requirements
5–9 years’ experience in credit risk, portfolio management, or SME lending within fintech, payments, or alternative lendingStrong proficiency in SQL (essential); Python optionalSkilled in Tableau or Power BI for data visualization and automationExperience with SME or consumer lending portfolios , credit bureaus, and alternative data sourcesStrong communicator — able to engage stakeholders diplomatically and translate data into actionBias for execution and experimentation — comfortable learning fast and iterating in real timeWhy Join
