Job Responsibilities

• Create Tailored Therapy Plans: Assess patients' needs and design individual treatment strategies to assist them in reaching their functional aspirations
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based methods to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and everyday activities
• Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Work seamlessly with other OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nurses to facilitate comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide instruction on therapeutic techniques to empower families and support ongoing progress at home
• Track Progress and Adjust Treatments: Monitor clinical outcomes, adapting therapy plans as needed to ensure patients stay on track

Education Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school
• Encouragement for ongoing education and specialized certifications

Licensure and Credentials

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
