Essential Functions
Serves as secretary to the Chief of the Office of Child and Family Policy. Prepares and keyboards a variety of confidential correspondence to agency staff, clients, professionals, and community agencies outside the Department for purposes of information and clarification of DCFS rules and procedures. Schedules appointments for administrative staff with supervisory staff. Arranges and submits business itineraries. Receives, sorts, and reads incoming mail for the Chief of OCFP, making notations if needed. Prepares personnel transaction forms for all staff. Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
