Substance Use Counselor .

Our programsprovide outpatient substance use counseling services to adults with substance use issues. Hours 7 : 00am to 4 : 00 M-F. Please note this position is grant funded and ongoing employment is dependnet upon future funding. This position may end 09 / 26.

Qualifications Include :

LCDC / LCDC Intern in Texas andprevious experience counselingin thesubstanceuse field preferred. Valid Texas Driver License and clear driving record. Drug screen and background check required.

Ability to professionally communicate maintain calm in tense situations organize write well for client documentation ability to build rapport with our clientsand inspire them to build confidence and leadership skills by demonstrating it yourself. Ability to respond appropriately in an emergency or crisis.
