A company is looking for a Medical Director, Dermatology - Pharmacy - Remote.
Key Responsibilities
Review and approve pharmacist denials for outpatient medication requests and conduct coverage reviews based on member plan documents
Collaborate with Clinical Coverage Review staff and provide clinical support to ensure accurate benefit determinations
Document clinical review findings and participate in process improvement initiatives within the Clinical Coverage Review team
Required Qualifications
Active, unrestricted physician license
Current board certification in Dermatology
5+ years of clinical practice experience in Dermatology post-residency
Substantial experience with electronic clinical systems
Ability to participate in rotational weekend and holiday call coverage
