Job Description

We are seeking a Python Developer for a role in NYC, NY for 6+ months.

Responsibilities

  • Work on front, middle or back office platforms for leading investment banks
  • Involvement in projects such as building new trade capture systems or real time, multithreaded risk portals
  • Develop a complete rewrite of the reporting suite and for introducing precognitive error checking and intelligent auto-correct for OATS

Skills Required

  • Excellent C++ and / or python / scripting skills with 7+ years of experience
  • Excellent system design for a software oriented architecture
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Knowledge of programming with UNIX is essential
  • Buy-side / Sell-side order management system experience is highly desired
  • Experience with relational databases and multi-threaded programming, and knowledge of UNIX scripting languages is desired
  • Ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical people
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
