Responsibilities:
- Ability to create a friendly and inviting guest experience over the phone and in person.
- Strong knowledge of ingredients and portions.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary environment.
- Supporting other areas of the restaurant.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in restaurants handling food.
- Friendly, upbeat attitude.
- Team player; you’re always willing to give and ask for help.
- Must be able to push/pull/lift/carry up to 25 lbs. individually.
- Ability to multitask.
- Enjoys working in a team.
- Possess CA Food Handler CertificateCleaning and sanitizing work areas, utensils, and equipment.
- Cleaning service and seating areas such as bussing tables.
- Describing menu items and suggesting products to customers.
- Servicing customers and taking orders as well as running food.
- Ordering, receiving, and distributing stock supplies.
- Receiving and processing customer payments.
- To create a friendly and inviting guest experience over the phone and in person.
- Operates a cash register, processing credit card payments, accepting cash payments, and making changes, as well as using a POS system for transactions.
- Greets and communicates with customers, as well as helps resolve customer complaints.
- Maintains knowledge of menu and sales policies.
- Maintains a safe, clean, and sanitary environment.
- Assists other restaurant staff as needed.
- Job will require availability to work in 2 locations DTLA and W. Adams
Job Type: Part-time and Full Time.
Pay: From $18 hourly + Tips = $22 hourly.
