Job Description :

Preparing machines for production runs within the quality and safety standards set by the Quality and Production Manager.  Have the ability to sit or stand for extended periods, bend, reach with hands and arms, and lift approx. 40 pounds.  All production staff must proactively participate in identifying ways to increase efficiency, maximize productivity, maintain quality and contribute to team morale.

Due to SSS Spring and Wire being a small company and therefore having limited resources, all employees are expected to cooperate with other departments, going above and beyond their main job duties when necessary or assigned to ensure the optimal performance of the company.  Employees are expected to be considerate of colleagues by maintaining common areas, including break room and rest room, to a good standard.

In addition, all employees of SSS Spring and Wire must consistently work with a sense of urgency and flexibility, with keen attention to QSCDM : quality, zero ppm, safety, zero accidents, cost, continuous improvement, 100% on time delivery, and morale; keeping in mind our Quality and Mission statement : "SSS is committed to continuous improvement of Product, Delivery and Customer Satisfaction."

Education / Experience required :     Minimum of 5 years working experience setting and programming CNC spring coiling machines.  Journeyman Machinist is a plus but not required .
