McLeod Health seeks a Board Certified Pain Management (PM&R or Anesthesiology) physician to grow a new program on the coast in North Myrtle Beach, SC.

Position will be a key specialist within the region’s most comprehensive clinically integrated network.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• 100% outpatient interventional pain management
• Collaborative care model with orthopedic surgery, neurosensory evaluations, and non-opioid treatment pathways
• Procedures include epidurals, medial branch blocks, spinal cord stimulation trials, RF ablations, and joint injections
• Opportunity to participate in program development for spine and neurologic pain
• APP support and seamless surgical co-management with orthopedic spine
• NO hospital call, rounding, or inpatient responsibilities
• Strong procedural skillset in interventional techniques
• Experienced in diagnosing and managing neuropathic and spine-related pain disorders
• Committed to interdisciplinary collaboration with orthopedic and rehab services
• Patient-focused, innovative, and dedicated to improving access and outcomes in outpatient pain care

What to expect

McLeod Health Seacoast has more than 200 physicians on the active medical staff which represents more than 32 medical specialties.  McLeod Loris a not-for-profit 50-bed hospital- specializes in general surgery, women s services, emergency care, critical care, urology, and physical / occupational / speech therapies.  We also have a new & expanding Dialysis Access Center.

Carolina Forest will ensure a continuation of the highest quality care, access to the best physicians, increased specialty services, and investments in technology. A 43-acre campus, McLeod Health Carolina Forest will be home to a seven-building campus offering a variety of services.  In addition, a $56 million, four-story state-of-the-art facility is expected to offer 48 beds ensuring that all patients have access to immediate care. Expected to be completed within the next two years, with an anticipated opening date of 2026.
