Job Summary : Manage rapid prototyping lab, machine shop, and wood shop. Train students in safe operation of all tools. (Develop safety training and exam.) Supervise students in the workshop to ensure safety. Maintain equipment in safe running condition. Troubleshoot equipment issues as needed. Identify and arrange to purchase tooling and supplies as needed. Perform other jobs as directed by the department head to assist with maintaining all laboratories in the Engineering department.

Supervisory Responsibilities :
Occasionally assists in the supervision of student employees in the Engineering programs. Carries out these supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include appraising performance, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
