Development Coordinator
Salary Note : Bilingual candidates are eligible for an additional $1.50 Bilingual Differential. This Bilingual Differential is not included in the salary range.
Position Summary : The Development Coordinator supports the development activities of the agency, including marketing.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities :
- Work Development Team to : Maintain and update agency web presence & drive traffic to our website.
- Update and maintain Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other social media accounts, including for agency events.
- Direct all inquiries via social media to the appropriate staff and respond quickly to client and other queries.
- Assist with the production of quarterly newsletters.
- Design and produce brochures, flyers and other print and digital materials for publication and keep them up to date.
- Write and distribute media release for local media outlets and other community media outlets in counties that HIV Alliance serves.
- Triage all media requests for interviews or coverage and assist in developing talking points for agency spokesperson.
- Develop and maintain a media distribution list.
- Convene and host bi-weekly marketing and public relations meeting with Prevention staff.
- Crafting monthly board report.
- Update Development program plan.
- Support special events.
- Ensure donor information management.
- Ensure timely appreciation of donors, including sending thank you notes in 3-7 days, sending end of year thank you letters and monthly donor reciepts.
- Update and maintain agencys master events calendar.
- Other tasks as assigned, including training / cross-training other staff as needed.
Required Qualifications :
TB test (provided at agency).Ability to pass agency criminal background check.2 years relevant experience.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Excellent time management, publication, design, website, graphics, writing, grammar, and social media skills.Team player who is self-motivated and enthusiastic.Strong attention to detail and editing skills.
