Position Overview
The Tax Senior will be responsible for managing and overseeing tax compliance and planning for a diverse portfolio of clients. This role requires a deep understanding of tax regulations and the ability to provide strategic advice to clients while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns for individuals and corporations.
- Conduct tax research and provide insights on complex tax issues.
- Assist in the development and implementation of tax planning strategies.
- Manage client relationships and deliver exceptional client service.
- Mentor and train junior staff members on tax compliance and planning matters.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and optimal tax strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- CPA certification is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting, focusing on tax.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
