Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide clinical and administrative support, ensuring efficient patient flow and high-quality care. This role involves direct patient interaction, assisting with examinations and procedures, collecting vital signs and specimens, and maintaining accurate medical records while supporting day-to-day clinical operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain accurate vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints.
• Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Prepare and clean exam rooms; sterilize instruments per infection-control guidelines.
• Perform specimen collection (blood, urine, swabs) and point-of-care testing.
• Administer injections and medications as directed (per scope and licensure).
• Provide patient education on treatments, medications, and follow-up care.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality at all times.
• Schedule appointments, manage referrals, and coordinate follow-up visits.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
• Verify insurance information and assist with patient intake and registration.
• Respond to patient inquiries via phone, portal, or in person.
• Support medical records management and HIPAA compliance.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of medical supplies.

Additional Requirements

Flexible to work 8-hour shifts between 7 : 00 am and 5 : 30 pm, Monday to Friday (no weekends).
