Design Ready Controls is a leader in control panel building and searching for our next key player to join our production team. The Assembler I position performs a variety of tasks related to the manufacturing of custom control panels. Work includes basic wiring tasks, sheet metal assembly, component assembly and setup, panel wiring and label application. This job requires a basic ability to read schematics and drawings, and a good understanding or willingness to learn electrical symbols and how to use hand tools appropriately. Both 1st and 2nd shift openings available. 1st shift is 6 : 00am - 2 : 30pm, 2nd shift is 2 : 30pm-11 : 00pm, M-F. General Responsibilities :

• Verify parts for assembly match the Bill of Materials
• Assemble electrical panels according to drawings, including assembling sheet metal pieces, fundamental panel wiring and mounting components
• Terminate wire ends and add terminals as needed that allow the wires to connect to another device
• Prepare panels for testing and shipping, including label application, device IDs, wire organization and tying wires together.
• Troubleshoot basic panel wiring and look for potential electrical issues, including entry into our internal system
• Learn to identify process improvement measures and escalate appropriately to the leadership team
• Maintain a safe and efficient work area
• Implement 5S and Lean Manufacturing as required.
• Assist or participate in training measures as assigned
