The VP of Data Solutions leads JobTargets technical data organization responsible for data infrastructure, automation, ML operationalization, and cloud cost efficiency. Reporting to the Head of Data, this role ensures all data systems are secure, reliable, efficient, and high-quality. This is a hands-on, builder-leader role requiring deep AWS expertise, FinOps experience, and the ability to operationalize ML models through scalable, automated systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of ~10 data engineers and developers.
• Architect, scale, and optimize AWS-based data platforms (Glue, Redshift, S3, Lambda, ECS, Athena).
• Drive FinOps strategy monitor and reduce cloud spend while improving performance.
• Build and maintain machine learning systems for Candidate Matching, Sourcer Ranking, and Applicant Classification.
• Implement n8n-based automation and orchestration for ML pipelines and data workflows.
• Define and enforce data quality, validation, and governance standards across all systems.
• Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, OFCCP).
• Support analytics and visualization through AWS QuickSight and related tools.
• Collaborate closely with Data Science, Engineering, and Product teams to deliver scalable data-driven capabilities.
• Stay current on AI, automation, and orchestration trends to drive continuous innovation.
