Job Description

As a Security Officer - Government Patrol in Murrieta, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to the public, and deliver outstanding customer service while upholding our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity. What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior. Working environments and conditions may vary based on the site.
  • Observe and report any security-related irregularities, such as property damage, trespassing, or unusual activity, to the appropriate authorities or management.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and / or law enforcement as required, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter potential issues.
  • Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific procedures, including documentation and reporting requirements.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
