Job Description

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol - Full Time  in Crete, NE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food / Beverage, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, assisting visitors and employees, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. This position requires driving as part of your duties. What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment within the food and beverage location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences within the food and beverage environment.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to provide assistance and uphold site protocols.
  • Document and report security-related activities, incidents, and / or observations according to Allied Universal guidelines.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
