[job_card.job_description]Assess patient conditions during admission and shifts, promptly identifying any changes. Execute medical procedures, monitor patient responses, and maintain accurate documentation. Administer prescribed medications and manage any therapeutic responses. Respond efficiently to patient requests while anticipating their needs. Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatments, and medications in an understandable manner. Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma; Bachelor Degree in Nursing preferred. Minimum of 6 months of experience as a Registered Nurse required. Active RN License in Texas or Multi-State RN Compact License required; Texas RN license must be obtained within 60 days if hired with Compact license. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred; Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course must be completed within 6 months of employment. Neonate Resuscitation certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
