Allied Universal is currently hiring a full time Armed Security Officer for a state facility in Brockton MA.

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 7 : 30 AM - 7 PM and Saturday 8 AM - 5 PM

Starting pay is $23.79 per hour / paid orientation / paid training

Candidate is required to have a concealed carry permit and 1+ years of previous security experience

As a security guard - in Brockton, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as transportation, and more. As a patrol armed officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned transportation locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will carry out routine patrols while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. This armed post requires a concealed carry weapons permit and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through teamwork, reliability, and a caring, people-first culture.

What you'll do :

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in a transportation environment, providing customer service while maintaining a professional presence.

Perform armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and / or suspicious behavior.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and / or prohibited items from entering the location.

Communicate and collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as required during incidents and / or emergencies.

Document and report security-related activities, observations, and incidents according to Allied Universal guidelines.

Remain alert and attentive to surroundings while conducting patrols and during all assigned duties.

Minimum requirements :

Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
