POSITION SUMMARY / RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for providing functional and planning support to the San Antonio HIV Planning Council. Facilitates the assessment and prioritization of health service's needs. Assists in the development of a Comprehensive Service Delivery Plan and Community Needs Assessment. Develops implementation of the HIV Planning Council schedule and ensures training for HIV Planning Council members. Responsible for preparation and submission of the required state and federal reports.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Bachelors' degree in public health, social work or related field is required, with a minimum of 2 year experience in project coordination and / or administration of social services. Master's degree in public health is preferred. Health research data experience is preferred, and knowledge of program administration and evaluation is preferred. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of individuals utilizing tact and diplomacy; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers is required.
