Software & Data Analyst Intern

Munich Airport NJ LLC is an US-based subsidiary of the German airport operator Munich Airport, and is responsible for the maintenance and concession management at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) Terminal A. We are also responsible for operations, maintenance, and concession management services at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) Terminal A . We are currently looking for an Engineering Intern to join our Facilities Maintenance team as a Software & Data Analyst Intern.

Join our team for the Spring 2026 Semester. The successful candidate will assist the facilities management team at Newark Liberty International Airport’s Terminal One as we develop detailed Facilities Maintenance Power BI dashboards and create Maximo, Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) processes. You will be responsible for supportive work and daily engineering tasks. Hours are flexible to accommodate your class schedule.

Your duties / responsibilities

• Under supervision, assist in the development of Power BI Dashboards for the Facilities department reporting data from Maximo and the airport systems HMI software.  The student intern will request and receive support and guidance from management to complete assigned activities.
• Have an intermediate to advanced grasp of Operating Systems, Data structures, algorithms and at least one modern programming language such as Python, JavaScript, etc.
• Develop and optimize shared semantic models in Power BI using snowflake schema design.
• Develop SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from our Maximo database for use in Power BI.
• Design interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to present key facilities department metrics.

The base salary range for this role is $20 per hour.
