Must Have : experience working with X magnification micro-electronic parts.

Job Designation

The Test Technician completes work in accordance with instructions, specifications, and procedures. Conducts a variety of tests and verifications on electro and electromechanical equipment, while providing accuracy, productivity, and on-time delivery.

Job Core Responsibilities

• Performs a range of routine mechanical and / or electromechanical testing of small parts or components in accordance with company instructions and procedures
• Reviews shop traveler route card, or schematic drawings to confirm correct sequence of operation
• Perform a variety of tests to verify circuitry and to test the effectiveness of components in amplifiers and electronic equipment.
• Receive parts or units from customers and troubleshoot circuits and components using schematic drawings and prints as a verification check.
• Perform tests and diagnostics using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DVMs, signal generators, power meters, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters, frequency counters, and other related test equipment
• Sets up test equipment and tests per specification
• Performs troubleshooting and failure analysis of analog and digital circuitry malfunctions to the micro component level
• Provides detailed written failure description with root cause analysis to production and engineering
• Follows written and verbal instructions, adheres to all company guidelines, policies, and procedures
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment, an acceptable safety record and follows company safety rules
• Other responsibilities as assigned
• Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s,) and additional hours as necessary

Job Specifications

Education : A Secondary Certificate / High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations

Certifications : Vocational training, apprenticeships or equivalent experience in the related field
