Facilities Project Engineer – Electrical Engineer

Nexeo is hiring Electrical Engineers to join our team in Ogden, UT. This role offers the opportunity to design, analyze, and document electrical systems, including generation, distribution, and control systems, while collaborating with multi-discipline teams to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and project requirements.

This onsite position offers a 9x80 work schedule, paid overtime, and relocation support for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems supporting infrastructure projects
• Prepare electrical design drawings, including one-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, panel schedules, and cable block diagrams
• Conduct electrical system analysis, including load flow, short circuit, motor starting, arc flash, and cable thermal ratings using ETAP
• Perform lighting design and calculations using AGI 32
• Size and specify electrical equipment such as transformers, panelboards, UPS systems, surge protective devices, and batteries
• Develop and maintain equipment and material specifications using SpecsIntact and CSI MasterFormat standards
• Review and integrate vendor and supplier data into electrical design packages
• Coordinate design requirements with systems engineering, clients, and multi-discipline teams
• Maintain compliance with NFPA 70 (NEC), ANSI / IEEE, NEMA, and other applicable standards
• Mentor and guide junior engineers (Mid-Level / Senior levels)
• Support project schedules, maintain design quality, and ensure documentation accuracy
• Lead complex projects and provide technical oversight (Senior-level)
• Review and approve design deliverables for compliance with internal and national standards (Senior-level)

$115,000 – $180,000 DOE
