SCOPE :

To assist certified personnel in achieving instructional goals through active participation in curricular activities

and supervision of students.

QUALIFICATIONS

PARAPROFESSIONAL I (GRADE 18) :

EDUCATION AND RELEVANT EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :

REQUIRED :

High School diploma or equivalent required.

Minimum of 60 semester hours from an accredited educational institution with at least 30 semester

hours in general education core curriculum and / or child development and education or successful

completion of the ParaPro Test with a score of 457 or higher.

Experience working in a classroom setting with children.

Proficiency in the operation of computers operating systems and office software for word processing

spreadsheets and presentations.

PARAPROFESSIONAL II (GRADE 19) :

EDUCATION AND RELEVANT EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :

REQUIRED :

Associates degree or higher from an accredited educational institution required.

Experience working with children in a classroom setting.

Proficiency in the operation of computers operating systems and office software for word processing

spreadsheets and presentations.

CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES :

REQUIRED :

Valid State Drivers License.
