Position Title : Cloud Engineer

Location : Remote (PST preferred)

Start Date : ASAP

Job Duration : 6+ months (approved budget until end of year – opportunity for extension / conversion in January)

Project Details :

A company specializing in cloud analytics and data platforms is expanding their team. The cloud services team is looking for an engineer to support with microservice development / deployments on AWS, Azure, and GCP. This person will collaborate with team members and partner teams to develop cloud services and solutions for clients. The right fit for this team will be both a skilled developer and highly collaborative.

Must Have Skills :

• 8+ years ‘ experience in cloud engineering (or 6+ years with an advanced degree)
• Experience with designing and building systems on AWS (Azure and Google Cloud / GCP are plus but not required)
• Must have strong development skills in GO programming language
• Experience developing microservice s and integrating APIs
• Strong experience doing integrations and unit tests with GO / GOlang
• Experience with deployments on Kubernetes
• Experience building CI / CD pipelines in Gitlab
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, specifically Terraform
• Experience with relational databases, working with distributed systems and architecture
• Experience with full lifecycle development through testing phase
• Good communication skills and highly collaborative
