Work is primarily conducted on an active construction site with heavy equipment and machinery.

We are currently seeking a talented full-time Senior Cost Consultant for Life Science Industrial Manufacturing and Technology projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of cost planning including ownership of and presentation of cost plans to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Manage the procurement process ensuring stages including prequalification enquiry analysis selection and contract preparation are performed effectively.
• Support the delivery of cost management services to delivery key strategic outcomes and KPIs directly influencing strategic development of plans.
• Serve as a client-facing senior cost consultant lead who assists with strategic tactical and technical advice.
• Manage and grow cost management teams or accounts.
• Interface with clients external and internal consultants at all project stages.
• Conduct feasibility studies and produce procurement reports.
• Produce ROMs for new and pipeline projects for a project budget to be based on.
• Day to day cost management of medium-large scale client projects including procurement pay requests change management and cost reporting.
• Apply value management techniques at the outset of a project involving existing protocols and systems.
• Managing estimating and cost planning activities to include taking ownership and presenting the final cost plan.
• Manage the procurement process ensuring that all stages including pre-qualification enquiry evaluation selection and contract preparation are performed effectively.
• Ensure post contract cost variances change control cost checking and valuation processes are managed effectively.
• Ensure the production of monthly post contract and cost reports and present them to the client.
• Provide value engineering life cycle costing.
• Manage the final account negotiation and agreement.
• Update benchmarking efforts as new projects are executed to provide real cost data to client.
