Proven ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with case management systems preferred. Our client a respected law firm specializing in community association law is seeking a Debt Recovery Paralegal to support attorneys in collection matters involving condominiums townhomes and single-family communities. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills and experience in collections debt relief and / or litigation .
Responsibilities :
- Open and maintain collection files; obtain documents and coordinate directly with clients.
- Draft and file pleadings motions and proposed orders in county and district courts.
- Manage e-filing court calendaring and hearing or trial scheduling.
- Prepare and respond to correspondence court inquiries and payoff requests.
- Support discovery trial preparation and witness coordination.
- Conduct legal research and maintain well-organized digital and physical case files.
- Process client payments and ensure internal databases are updated accurately.
