A Day in the Life
Responsible for managerial and administrative aspects of construction projects, including estimating, contract negotiations, proposal preparation, planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and executionEnsure an accurate and complete project estimateWork closely with owners and the design team to develop preliminary concept drawingsParticipate in the proposal meeting with the owner to review the scope of work, discuss ways to reduce costs, and provide value engineering ideasOversee the buyout process and the selection of subcontractorsConduct biweekly job site meetings on siteOrganize, plan, and manage multiple activities to accomplish desired resultsCommit to quality by evaluating project-related processesMake sound decisions under tight deadlines to meet or exceed client expectationsAct with integrity that supports the company, its values, and associatesNecessary Qualifications
2+ years of project management experienceHighly prefer design-build experienceProficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project)Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field requiredLegal
