Job Responsibilities :
As a Physical Therapist, you will assess, plan, and implement individualized rehabilitation programs designed to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance overall functional ability. Regular responsibilities include :
- Developing and executing customized treatment plans to restore function, reduce pain, and prevent physical impairment.
- Reviewing physician referrals, evaluating medical histories, and coordinating with patients and medical staff to design effective interventions.
- Establishing and documenting patient goals, expected outcomes, and reevaluation timelines.
- Conducting assessments and recording data on strength, mobility, functional capacity, sensory response, and circulatory / respiratory efficiency.
- Tracking patient progress and modifying treatment plans as needed, including referrals to other providers when appropriate.
- Educating patients on injury prevention, ergonomics, and overall wellness.
- Training patients on the safe use of assistive devices (e.g., walkers, crutches, canes, wheelchairs).
- Preparing patients for discharge once goals are met and coordinating follow-up care or additional referrals.
- Maintaining consistent attendance to ensure clinic coverage and smooth operations.
- Delivering outstanding patient care while adhering to confidentiality and HIPAA standards.
Job Requirements
Education & Certifications
Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.Active, unrestricted Nevada Physical Therapy license.Preferred Qualifications
Candidates can stand out with :
Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS) credential.Two or more years of experience in an orthopedic rehabilitation setting.Travel
Some travel to alternate clinic locations may be required at the discretion of the manager.
