Unit Overview :

Join our vibrant 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit where you will care for a diverse patient population including :

Post-operative craniotomies

Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeries

Stroke patients as part of our Comprehensive Stroke Program

What You'll Do :

Provide evidence-based patient care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team

Utilize critical thinking to support optimal patient outcomes

Enhance the patient experience through compassion and professionalism

Major Responsibilities :

Conduct thorough assessments and create individualized care plans

Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes proactively

Ensure patient safety through effective communication and teamwork

Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance care

Licensure and Certification Required :

Valid Registered Nurse license in the practicing state

BLS certification from the American Heart Association

Education and Experience :

Completion of an accredited Nursing program

Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience

Skills and Abilities :

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to adapt in fast-paced environments

Strong organizational and time management skills

Physical Requirements :

Ability to perform physical tasks regularly throughout the day

Must be capable of lifting and moving patients as needed
