This manufacturing technician position will be based in Madison, WI. This position will be responsible for mechanical, optical and / or electrical component assembling tasks for Optical Microscopes for life science imaging applications. This position will work closely with final system QA / QC and manufacturing engineering teams to successfully deliver quality products and subassemblies.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and manufacture instrumentation, subassemblies, and precision components.
• Test assemblies and sub-systems by running electrical / mechanical tests on devices to ensure standards are achieved
• Execute written SOPs and work instructions
• Modify and fabricate parts using small hand tools and under microscope (up to 40x magnification).
• Debug assemblies or systems in cooperation with production team or engineering
• Work with manufacturing engineering to alter / improve assembly instructions
• Assist other departments as needed and as directed by the supervisor.
• Ensure timely completion of assignments while meeting or exceeding quality standards.
• Accurately document work performed and maintain production records.
• Maintain a clean work environment

At Bruker, base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $42,300 and $72,000 (paid through an hourly rate equivalent) and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base salary for the role will depend on a several job-related factors, including, but not limited to education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge and travel requirements for this position.
