The Freight Flow Supervisor will assist in the efficient operation and maintenance of the receiving area. Responsibilities include the accurate, efficient, and timely execution of freight flow to the sales floor in accordance with established processing and visual merchandising standards, maintaining back stock in the receiving area, and managing the disposition of damaged goods to minimize profit loss.

Primary Responsibilities include planning, unloading, checking in, and supporting the merchandising of distribution shipments of merchandise, receiving, verifying, and merchandising all direct vendor shipments, managing effective freight flow in the receiving area, maintaining the safety of the receiving area, adhering to company standards to confirm the accuracy of all incoming merchandise, setting up and designing merchandise displays, directing the work of other Associates assisting with freight flow processes, and acting as Manager on Duty to complete any additional responsibilities and / or duties as assigned including opening and closing of the store.

Qualifications include a minimum of 6 months' retail experience in a mid-size to large retail service-oriented business, ability to work evenings, 3rd shift, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis, a positive attitude, and the ability to interact well with customers and associates. Physical Requirements include the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, push and pull up to 35 pounds, and stand for extended periods.
