Responsibilities

• The Cost Accountant prepares account recons, investigates finished goods inventory variances, reviews purchase price variances, and oversees finished goods standard costing.
• This role works closely with global procurement, supply chain, and supply chain finance on inventory cost analysis and projects.
• The Cost Accountant role is also responsible for identifying opportunities for process improvements, as well as the implementation of new business analytic tools.
• In addition, this role ensures compliance with SOX and PepsiCo accounting policies related to Frito-Lay's co-manufacturing processes.
