Strong knowledge of therapeutic interventions and patient mobility techniques. Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with therapy teams. Must take a 30-minute meal break per shift.

Contract Length : 14 Weeks
Shift : Day Shift (Shift 1)
Hours : 08 : 00 AM - 04 : 30 PM
Location : Los Angeles, CA
Position Overview
A dedicated Travel Physical Therapist Assistant is needed for a 14-week day-shift assignment in a rehabilitation-focused care environment. The PTA will work closely with the supervising Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality therapeutic care, support patient mobility goals, and contribute to ongoing recovery progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, and mobility support to residents.
- Monitor, document, and report patient progress and responses to therapy.
- Ensure safe and proper use of therapy equipment and assistive devices.
- Support patients in achieving mobility, strength, and functional independence goals.
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary care teams regarding patient status.
- Follow all facility safety, infection control, and therapy protocols.
