Job Title: Pharmacist – Day Shift (Contract)

Location - Nacogdoches, Texas

Shift: 08:00 AM – 04:30 PM

Schedule: 5 × 8-hour shifts per week

Contract -13 Weeks

Pay - $70 - $76

Job Summary:

We are seeking a licensed Pharmacist for a day-shift contract opportunity. The Pharmacist will be responsible for reviewing and processing physician medication orders and ensuring safe, accurate, and effective medication therapy for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and verify physician drug orders for safety, accuracy, and appropriateness

Evaluate medications based on:

Drug, dose, and administration interval

Clinical indication

Patient allergies

Drug–drug and drug–food interactions

Patient age, weight, and renal function

Ensure compliance with all pharmacy and safety standards

Requirements:

Active Pharmacist license (state as required)

Previous hospital or clinical pharmacy experience preferred

Strong attention to detail and a patient safety focus
