LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE CLINICAL FLOATER POOL

The Licensed Practical Nurse Floater provides nursing services throughout the Clinic during times of staff outages and transition periods.

Daily routine includes a mixture of clinical and clerical roles.

Rooming patients, obtaining and recording vitals and patient history.

Assisting Physician / Provider / s with examinations and procedures.

Monitoring, cleaning, stocking patient exam rooms and equipment.

Involves Coumadin Clinic, Infusion / Injection Services, and Pediatric Shot Room coverage.

As expected with all healthcare positions, must adhere to HIPAA / OSHA / BLOODBORNE PATHOGEN regulations at all times and must maintain all required workplace trainings.

Other duties as necessary and assigned.

MUST BE LICENSED TO PRACTICE AS LPN IN KENTUCKY / MUST HOLD CURRENT ACTIVE LICENSURE.
