Production Supervisor – Manufacturing

We’re recruiting for a Production Supervisor to join our client’s growing manufacturing operation in Charleston, South Carolina . This role follows a rotating DuPont (swing) schedule and offers the opportunity to lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced, safety-driven environment.

What You’ll Do

Champion a strong safety culture through training, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Lead and coordinate all production activities during your shift to meet quality, delivery, and efficiency goals.

Train, mentor, and engage production teammates to build skills and promote teamwork.

Manage daily shift scheduling, resource allocation, and production planning.

Oversee changeovers, startups, and shutdowns to ensure smooth transitions.

Investigate incidents and quality issues to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

Partner with plant leadership and other departments to drive process improvements and operational excellence.

Monitor performance metrics, complete shift reports, and communicate progress to leadership.

What You Bring

Background in manufacturing or industrial production supervision (4+ years preferred).

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical experience.

Willingness to work rotating night shifts (7p–7a, 3 days one week, 4 the next).

Proven ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and uphold safety and quality standards.

Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement tools.

Comfortable using Microsoft Office; Oracle or similar ERP experience a plus.
