Manager Of Development Review

The Clark County Public Works Department is seeking qualified candidates for the Manager of Development Review position. This position coordinates and oversees the Public Works involvement in the County's development process, which includes land use, the review of off-site improvement plans, permit applications, drainage studies, traffic studies, and other related improvement requirements. Additionally, this role manages the workflow, sets objectives and guidelines, handles issues and concerns, and ensures compliance with County Code.

This examination will establish an Open Competitive Eligibility list to fill current and / or future vacancies that may occur within the next six (6) months or may be extended as needed by Human Resources. Human Resources reserves the right to call only the most qualified applicants to the selection process. This position is a management position and excluded from membership in the union.

Minimum Requirements :

• Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate Engineering, Planning or related field AND five (5) years of full-time professional and / or administrative experience in plan review, inspection, engineering, project administration or a field which will have provided the required knowledge and skills, two (2) years of which includes supervisory / management experience.
• Possession of an appropriate advanced degree is desirable.
