Tow Truck Driver

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves providing roadside assistance and vehicle recovery services in a timely and professional manner. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage conflicts effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction.

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 7am - 7pm & REQUIRED on call every other night AND every other weekend.

Duties

• Operate various types of tow trucks, including flatbed and manual transmission vehicles, to transport disabled or damaged vehicles safely.
• Respond promptly to calls for roadside assistance, including accidents, breakdowns, and other emergencies.
• Utilize conflict management skills to handle customer inquiries and concerns professionally.
• Maintain accurate records of services rendered, including mileage, time spent on each job, and any additional notes.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on tow trucks to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with dispatchers and other team members to optimize service delivery.

Skills

• Proficient in driving tow trucks with a valid F endorsement.
• Experience in operating forklifts is a plus.
• Familiarity with various towing techniques and equipment.
• Ability to manage conflicts effectively while maintaining a calm demeanor under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
• A solid understanding of automotive systems and troubleshooting methods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,300.00 per week
