We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Business Office Manager to join our team at our skilled nursing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in long-term care billing and collections, along with a commitment to supporting both residents and staff with professionalism and integrity.
BOM Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee daily business office operations, including billing, collections, and resident trust accounts
- Manage census records, admissions paperwork, and insurance verifications
- Ensure accurate and timely Medicaid, Medicare, and private billing
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments
- Work collaboratively with the Administrator and department heads
- Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and company policies
Requirements :
Previous experience as a Business Office Manager in a long-term care setting strongly preferredStrong knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, and insurance billingExcellent organizational, time management, and communication skillsAbility to lead a team and work independentlyFamiliarity with relevant software systems (e.g., PCC, MatrixCare, etc.) is a plusWhy Join Us?
