Title : Curriculum Coordinator - Math Emphasis
Reports to : Director of Instruction
Purpose : As part of the CIA team designs and implements initiatives in
support of the districts strategic plan in the areas of instructional practice gifted and
talented education curriculum coaching with an emphasis on Mathematics and
assessment as appropriate. Support building level administrators instructional coaches and
teachers to ensure district schools operate in accordance with the laws statutes and Board
policies relative to teaching and learning. Plan organize communicate and provide
instruction to support District priorities state and federal law.

LANGUAGE SKILLS : Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Able to communicate effectively with staff students and community members.
REASONING ABILITY : Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form. Ability to address problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk and hear

occasionally required to climb onto roofs or in crawl spaces for cabling wireless or satellite
equipment maintenance and installation. The employee must regularly lift and / or move up
to ten pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to fifty pounds. Specific vision abilities
required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT : The employee regularly works indoors. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
