Assist in promoting optimal care within Doctors Medical Center.Demonstrate professional competency in the nursing process.Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate the care of critically injured patients.Maintain records of the trauma registry and its Quality Improvement reports.Develop educational programs for all personnel involved in the care of trauma patients.Monitor patients' clinical progress during hospitalization.Manage day-to-day operations of the trauma services.Participate in staffing, budgetary planning, leadership, and quality improvement of the department.Trauma Management,Nursing Process,Care of Critically Injured Patients,Quality Improvement,Educational Program Development,Clinical Monitoring,Operations Management,Staffing,Budgetary Planning,Leadership
- BSN preferred.
- Three to five years of Emergency or Critical Care experience preferred.
- Current California RN license.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
- PALS certification.
- ENPC certification within 6 months of hire.
- TNCC certification within 6 months of hire (Instructor preferred).
- Ability to perform physical demands, such as lifting and positioning up to 25 lbs.
